CQC INSPECTION

CQC Inspection Report

We are committed to always improving the service we offer at Richmond Court.

We are currently on a rating of GOOD in all 5 categories. We are proud of our team and we are continuously working towards achieving higher standards.

We have invested back into the business and our team to strive for a high performance. Early 2019 we went fully digital on all our medication administration - which not only us but external medical professionals saw a vast improvement on how we administer medication safely. Summer 2019 we invested in Person Centred Software - we are now fully digital on all our care planning and care recording (paperless) - we have seen a great improvement on how data is recorded and how the system can alert all staff members on duty to any problems that may occur - e.g. fluid intake monitoring systems to alert staff if service users have had a lack of fluids throughout the day/night. Full access to person centred care plans and care needs are at the finger tips of every staff member on their mobile electronic devices.

We are working closely with professionals such as GP's, Enhanced Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, Dietitians, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Teams and Mental Health Teams to improve the service we offer. We are inviting these professionals into Richmond Court to inspect our service within their specialist areas so that we can identify our strengths and weaknesses and strive for excellence.
